Not just a box standard plain colour pullover or a V-neck jumper.

This technique is used to juxtapose several yarns in the same course without the drawback of floats. Each area of colour is supplied by a different yarn, which is distributed by a mobile yarn guide. And, therefore, using the intarsia method, it is possible to design motifs with different coloured areas, from wide to very narrow, without changing the thickness of the yarn and since it is the same as single jersey, it is supple and gives the appearance of having been hand-knitted!!

To be able to achieved the structure in the professional machines, this would need computer programming by using specially designed carriage.

The most frequently used intarsia designs were constructed with diagonals to form diamond shapes, such as the Argyle motif that is popular in menswear. We have been exploring further and our dedicated design team have created a serial of geometric or abstract compositions in a profusion of stunning cashmere in our new season Woman's collection
